Well ACT 1st FCU is pleased to announce our college scholarship to make it easier for you to meet tuition costs!
The $12,000 Credit Union College Scholarship Program for 2025 is now accepting applications. Members of eligible credit unions may apply for one of ten $2,000 essay-based scholarships*. Or one $2,000 video-based scholarship.
And, yes, you may apply in both categories!
2025 Essay Topic: Credit unions play a significant role in promoting financial wellness among their members. How do you believe credit unions contribute to the financial health and stability of individuals and communities? Discuss specific benefits and provide examples or personal experiences to illustrate their impact.
2025 Video Topic: Create a 60 second video depicting how credit unions contribute to the financial health and stability of individuals and communities.
The deadline for application submissions is 11:59 p.m. on April 15, 2025. Scholarship winners will be announced in June 2025.
Any member of an eligible credit union who is entering their freshman through senior year of college or trade school may apply.
Parental membership does not qualify an applicant. The applicant themselves must be a member of an eligible credit union.
* Essays must be 750 words or less.
